Where is Xur today? (November 24-28) Destiny 2 Exotic Items and Xur Location Guide

After a scary few months, the witch season ends next week. Before Season of the Wish ushers in a new era of activity in Destiny 2, Xur is making his regular stop in the solar system with a new selection of exotic gear and legendary class items. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what Agent Nine has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in the section EDZ, in winding cove Area. Jour makes an offer for his gun Tractor ball. Hunters can harvest Gemini Jester leg armor; Titans can grapple Kharatin flowers leg armor; And Warlocks can shop Phoenix protocol armored

Location of Xur

Xur’s position in the EDZ.

Spawn in the Winding Cove transmat area, then hop on your sparrow and head north. Take the collapsed flyover on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff to reach a higher ridge where the crashed ship has crashed. You will find Jour there.

Xur’s exotic and legendary items

  • Exotic Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
  • Cannon Tractor – 29 legendary shards
  • Peregrine Graves – 23 legendary shards
  • Gemini Jester – 23 legendary shards
  • Phoenix Protocol – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Hawkmon – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Climb Shard, 1 Exotic Code
  • Xenology Search – Free
  • Legendary Weapons and Armor – 50 Legendary Pieces, 1000 Glimmer

Xur also offers a weekly Xenology quest, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard missions or win Crucible and Gambit tournaments to earn an exotic token. The Exotic Ciphers cap has also been increased, as you can now hold up to five of them at once.

Weird armor

Peregrine Greaves (Foreign Titan Leg Armor)

Kharatin flowers
Kharatin flowers

Peregrine Greaves is a situational oddity for Titans, as it boosts shoulder charge abilities like Earthquake and Hammer Strike with extra damage when activated in the air. You also get the benefit of how effective all weapons are in the air, but with Titans mostly staying on the ground, don’t expect this Exotic to be useful outside of PvP. Stats are average and mostly balanced across the board, though the Strength stat is high and ties in well with this Exotic’s identity.

  • Mobility: 11
  • Resilience: 11
  • Recovery: 10
  • Field: 8
  • Intellect: 7
  • Strength: 15
  • Total: 62

Gemini Jester (strange hunter’s leg armor)

Gemini JesterGemini Jester
Gemini Jester

A great Hunter Exotic for PvP, Gemini Jester’s Misdirection Perk will disorient enemies and temporarily remove their radar whenever you use your dodge ability. This roll has high mobility, recovery, and intelligence stats, but everything else is average to low in comparison.

  • Mobility: 15
  • Resilience: 8
  • Recovery: 12
  • Field: 6
  • Intellect: 15
  • Strength: 10
  • Total: 66

Phoenix Protocol (Weird Armor)

Phoenix protocolPhoenix protocol
Phoenix protocol

A must-have Exotic for Warlocks who support their fiery teams with their Well of Radiance Super, Phoenix Protocol returns energy whenever you or your teammates make a kill from within your Super. You will get up to half of your super energy, but the stats aren’t the best on this roll. Mobility is unnecessarily high and flexibility is very low, but at least a high intelligence stat can help reduce your super cooldown.

  • Mobility: 24
  • Resilience: 2
  • Recovery: 11
  • Field: 2
  • Intellect: 19
  • Strength: 10
  • Total: 68

Strange weapons

Tractor ball

Tractor ball

The Tractor Cannon is an odd looking shotgun, but very useful with the right build. Throwing enemies away is useful, but the key selling point of this Exotic is that it can nullify and suppress your enemies’ abilities, setting them up for powerful combos with your abilities and other weapons if you have the right loadout.

  • Repulsive force
  • Extended barrel
  • Particle repeater
  • Scientific method
  • Composite stock

Hawkmon

For once, Hawkmoon isn’t too bad this week! This week’s roll is Killign Wind, a trait that allows for increased mobility, weapon range, and ultimate control. Combined with the rest of the available perks and the nature of Hawkmoon’s Paracausal Shot, you’ve got a pretty decent release to play this week.

  • Paracausal shot
  • Cork gun
  • Alloy magazine
  • kill the wind
  • Textured handle

Xur is in Destiny 2 every weekend, starting with a daily reset every Friday at 9am PT / 12pm ET. His exact location is always a mystery upon arrival, as he is not listed on the map, and for new players, can be easily missed. However, there are a number of places where he resides, including the Tower Nest area, on Nessus in the Watcher’s Tomb, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
