If you’re looking to add the film to your collection, you’ll be happy to know that the film has just been released on Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital 4K. Better yet, most versions of the movie are currently on sale, including 4K formatwhich is just $28 (down from $45).
Picking up a physical copy gives you a few extra features, including a loop, feature commentary and other behind-the-scenes footage. Also note that the 4K version includes the Blu-ray and digital formats, while the Blu-ray format includes the DVD format and digital copy.
Five Nights at Freddy’s follows Mike, a newly hired security guard at an abandoned restaurant. However, things quickly spiral out of control as he begins to witness strange and supernatural occurrences – and he must be careful if he wants to survive.
Our review of Five Nights at Freddy’s gave it a 7/10, praising Josh Hutcherson’s performance, though praising it for the rigor of its plot.
Critic Phil Owen wrote, “The whole thing is basically a remix of Five Nights at Freddy’s, borrowing elements from different places and using them somewhat differently, or in some cases, very differently.” Hutcherson, who is in almost every scene of the film, does a great job as the always sleepy Mike. Along with Hutcherson’s boring performance, which adds something to the film before anyone mentions Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.”
