Five Nights at Freddy’s follows Mike, a newly hired security guard at an abandoned restaurant. However, things quickly spiral out of control as he begins to witness strange and supernatural occurrences – and he must be careful if he wants to survive.
Our review of Five Nights at Freddy’s gave it a 7/10, praising Josh Hutcherson’s performance, though praising it for the rigor of its plot.
Critic Phil Owen wrote, “The whole thing is basically a remix of Five Nights at Freddy’s, borrowing elements from different places and using them somewhat differently, or in some cases, very differently.” Hutcherson, who is in almost every scene of the film, does a great job as the always sleepy Mike. Along with Hutcherson’s boring performance, which adds something to the film before anyone mentions Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.”
