A new update has been released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The December 14 patch notes include a change to how the Ghost Perk works in multiplayer, as well as updates to fighting worms in Zombies mode.
The biggest change for multiplayer is the Ghost score setting. Previously, Ghost only activated for a player when moving, but this update allows players equipped with this perk to remain stationary for two seconds before the anti-radar effects are disabled.

The developer confirms that this change was made based on feedback, saying: “We’ve added a grace period to the Ghost T/V Camo’s movement requirement. With this change, players can be detected by radar while not moving. Like, but momentary pauses cause it. It no longer causes their position to be revealed.”
Various multiplayer playlists received changes to the score limit. Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed points limit increased to 125 for 10v10, 150 for 12v12 and 125 points for minimap playlist.
For zombie mode, adjustments were made to fight the Boss Worm Greylorm Aether. This update addresses an issue where being eaten by Greylorm and captured by Mimic at the same time could cause players to be pushed to the bottom of the map. It also now avoids the issue that previously caused the boss to die instantly after spawning.
Additionally, a useful change has been made to the Gorm’gant worm boss fight in the Dead Signal mission. Light armored zombies will now spawn during this fight to provide players with a source of armor.
This update also includes fixes for various crash and stability issues, including the crashed PC players experienced at the start of Season 1. The full patch notes can be found below As shared on the Call of Duty blog.
The new update also reached Warzone. Here’s everything that’s changed for Battle Royale, including foot sounds and weapon balance.
