A Quiet Place director John Krasinski’s next film is completely different, watch the first trailer

John Krasinski’s next film is nothing like his last, and the first trailer is out now. Krasinski is following up A Quiet Place Part II with a new film starring Ryan Reynolds called If , and he’s looking pretty healthy.

It is described as a “heartwarming and all-family” film. The premise is simple and powerful: a young girl (Keely Fleming) discovers that she can see imaginary childhood friends who have grown up and moved away. Imaginary friends, however, were abandoned. So it’s up to the little girl and Reynolds to make things right. Here is the trailer:

The cast includes many big names including Steve Carell, Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, John Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins and Aquafina.

Krasinski wrote and directed this film. He is best known for his role as Jim on The Office, and in this film, he reunites with fellow The Office star Carl, who played Jim’s boss, Michael Scott. If it is released in theaters in May 2024.

After The Office, Krasinski directed 2016’s The Hollars, before breaking out into the bigger picture with A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place: Part II.
