Call Of Duty brings back the “Evil Groot” skin with this big change

Activision has brought back the Gaia skin for Call of Duty, it was removed a few months after people complained that it was too difficult to see, thus giving it an unfair advantage in Modern Warfare III and Warzone.

The Reloaded Season 1 update brings back the skin with one very important change. The new version of Gaia is much less transparent than before, which in theory should make it easier to see in the heat of battle. Watch the video below to see the new version of Gaia, which fans have dubbed “Evil Groot” because it kind of looks like the Marvel tree character.

Gaia skin was removed from Call of Duty in November 2023. The goal was to “enhance visibility,” but it’s too early to tell how fans will receive the updated version of Gaia. This was only the last update to the Gaia skin, as it was already updated after it debuted in 2022’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

The Reloaded Season 1 update adds a new Rio map for Modern Warfare III multiplayer and a superhero mode inspired by Amazon’s The Boys. Unfortunately for Warzone fans, the update is very buggy.
